This wall light is different to the other model I made and has loads more detail hence has quite a few more tris in it!

i think theres a little to much detail in some parts of the light ie the wire could jst be alpha it will not be seen close enough to warrant that kind of detail but all in all good looking model nice shape i dunno if its my widescreen but the circle glass bit at the front looks oval not circle as it looks in the photo
No you're right abt the glass and also the actual light shape. It's slightly oval shape so ill just need to adjust that.
Also, I'll make the wire an alpha plane and weld some vertices together in places more than the necessary polygons required.
cool i cant wait to see it textured it will look great especialy with an emissive map.
another thing, it would be great if u could keep the higher poly one incase we find that we are not using the full potential of the engine then we can easily crank up the polys 4 better effect :)
