Storeroom - WIP renders

Quick renders of storeroom and included few crates in the corner (made of simple cube primitives) and also created a VERY basic "pyramid head" statue with a "cloth" or rather supposed to be a tarpaulin sheet over it with 2 different versions.

One's longer and drapes down to the floor but only really shows the subtle shape of the "pyramid head" and also a second "cloth version" which is smaller so that it hangs just over the head of the statue to show a bit more of the defined angular shape. Although, the "1st version" is better overall as it looks more mysterious. Then again, the "pyramid head" is pretty damn basic and needs more definition especially in the lower body sections, plus needs some arms as well! Maybe that's what's causing the "1st version cloth" to look too subtle and not not as identifiable enough?

Do we want this statue to be this subtle or more definition so the cloth reacts to drape over the statue better?

Oh yea and cloth object ("plane" primitive) needed loads of segments (90x90) to look more smoothly when reacting with a collision object (the statue in this case). I tried with about 50x50 but it didn't look as realistic. Plus, it would just fall straight through the statue about halfway and then react physically so i don't know if this is because the statue needs to be more smoothed out along the head or i'm doing something wrong.
So with the 90x90 segmented cloth it only goes slightly through the statue (the top of the head down to the front just pops out), then once i got the desired shape I simply just moved the cloth up slightly and adjusted size where necessary.

Also, are the lights in here too bright and/or placed correctly to what we are trying to achieve for this room?
- 2omni light either side of open top
- 3 spotlights on right side (to represent "shafts of light" - needs work heavily as i haven't made any vines/roots around this area)

Questions:
1)Overall mysterious mood created?
2)Lights too bright?
3)Artificial lights assets in storeroom to be included? Where are they to be placed?
4)"Statue w/ cloth" - needs to be subtle? or more defined so is more recognisable as a "pyramid head"?

Good work and nice use of max's features. I like the fact that you are experimenting so much as it can always hepl to guide the work along as we move to finalise the project.
